Silverstrate was designed as a superior phase-change thermal interface material to meet the demands of high-powered applications. Silverstrate is an electrically conductive phase-change thermal interface material used between a heat sink and a variety of high-powered heat dissipating components.

Silverstrate is a highly successful material due to it’s unique compound formulation and ability to be pre-formed to customer specifications. Silverstrate is available in a variety of substrate and compound thicknesses expanding the materials ability to fit a wide variety of applications. The compound is designed to flow at phase-change and conforms to the surface features of the heat sink and the component.

Silverstrate is the optimal choice where there is a need for a superior heat conduction path as well as a high efficient path of electrical conduction. Silverstrate’s superior performance enables it to be an excellent replacement for certain “filled” thermal greases.

This ruggedized phase-change material is completely re-workable without the use of solvents and can be easily handled by both OEM assembly sites and heat sink manufacturers.
